I was very into the beginning chapter then had a hard time until about 15% into the book when it became impossible to put down. Definitely unlike anything I've read before.

3.5 stars. It read more like a YA book, though with disturbing events. Had I realized it was a kidnapping, SA, and murder story, I wouldn’t have read (listened by audiobook). I did not want to listen to the entire book in one day, but I also did not want to bring this story with me into another day. Happy I finished it, but glad I’m done with it.

Reminder to self: don’t select a book by the rating, at least without reading the synopsis
