3.75 stars. Quickie Review- This was a cute book! I found it to be a smart little romance, similar to Penny Reid's style. I liked Derek and Emily together. Derek was a little too metrosexual for me and not alpha enough. He actually cuts and styles her hair for her (As a hobby. He's not a professional stylist). But he adored Emily so much that it made up for it. Their relationship is a slow burn, but I definitely felt their love.
medium-paced

This was one of the best books I've read in quite some time. The rest of the series was also good, but this was really a cut above!
The story was realistic with a twist. The people were authentic. The sexiness was hot but not sleezy. Thanks Lucy - you did it again!

I'm on a romance kick don't sue me

Also highkey I was so angry with all of these characters until the last like 50 pages

Billionaire women rock!

Finally a story (series really) where women are the Billionaires or vagillionaires as they would say in the book. The Price of Scandal introduces the Bluewater Billionaires- Emily, Cam, Luna, & Daisy. This story revolves around Emily when faced with a scandal that can upend her life & career. Who pops in with a nude meet but Half Brit, Derek, who’s a fixer. Loved the banter throughout this book. Hot chemistry. Amazing friendships that will last through the series.

January 2023 Audiobook review: Stephen Dexter with a British accent? Swoon! He narrates as Derek. Natalie Duke narrates Emily. Together they do an amazing job. I found myself chuckling a lot throughout.

This book was really cute. The second half made me like it a lot more. The beginning I just was not that interested for some reason, but then I found myself reading every line and eating it up. I enjoyed the characters, and I believe the author did a great job portraying each as she wanted them to be perceived. Overall, I would recommend this book if you are looking for cute read, and one that won't leave you reeling.

I enjoyed every single chapter of this book...
