Oooooh, yeah. This was fantastic. Viking-inspired fantasy with super interesting magic and political intrigue. Roark and Lyra’s enemies-to-lovers story is filled with angst and all the THAD vibes we love to see. How I long for Roark to sign his words against my cheek.

This was such a good start to a series. The magic is interesting, FMC is strong and smart. MMC is mute due to an attack and the FMC learns to read his signing.

Loved a fated mates story, slow burn and enemies to lovers. Hell of a cliffhanger!

Broken Souls & Bones has a lot of potential on the romance front: forbidden attraction, betrayal, secrets. The fantasy parts, though, are a bit hard for me to follow. Still, if you’re in the mood for a solid introductory book with 🔥& a cliffie, you might want to read this one. 4 ⭐️, out 04/29. (Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the complimentary ARC. Is it really a surprise that I DEVOURED this book? LJ Andrews did it again! I am in awe of just how easy it is to get sucked into any book she writes. Love love love!!!!!! Can’t believe I have to wait until next year for another book from her 😭

LJ Andrews has done it again! I wish I could give Broken Souls and Bones 11 stars! LJ has the incredible ability to create diverse, highly detailed, and intriguing worlds with extensive magic systems, lore, and love and she does not disappoint with this book. Enemies-to-lovers, forbidden romance, danger, and characters you simply can't help but fall in love with makes this book the amazing work of art that it is. This is why she is one of my most favorite authors!
