Wow, this was really good! The writing style was very nice! The author successfully tells the thoughts of all the people involved in a scene. I loved that. And the storyline felt so real. I really believe life can be like that.

Made it to Book 2, Chapter 3 before I had to return the audiobook to the library. I'm leaving this status here so I remember where to start when I get it back.

I'm liking it so far. I just ran out of time.

Got it back and finished. Less pulled together ending than I hoped.

I loved this book for several reasons--first because it shows the casual sadism of New York financiers in an amazing way, second because it depicts the helplessness of being a college grad who can't stand the idea of going to law/med/business school. I think in classic novel fashion it relies a bit too much on adultery to drive the plot forward. but other than that A+
