Overall,
What I like about this book:-
• Romance
• All Vampires
• And......Edward (not Bella)
What I don't like about this book:-
• Sometimes the conversation was hard to understand
• I was in need of more "Vampire" action
• Lack of curiosity of reading more
• Less description (I can't imagine).
Still I think I will head for reading part 2 of this series.

I know many people have a hard time dealing with the great attention this novel received from people that don't normally read and the great amount of female audience. This novel is a groundbreaker in my eyes, for it's truly set this stage in the world of youth novels to include this fantasy and romance. It was basically the framework that many authors seemed to look toward for guidance, and I truly believe that.
Not only was this book amazingly outlined, it was so well thought out in every manner of every detail. From the characters, to the locations, and even to the time of year certain scenes took place. Stephenie Meyer also happened to write my favorite novel, The Host, which too showed great attention to minute detail. She is a great novelist of our time, like Robert Frost was a great poet in his time, and truly knows what to give to the American audience. These books shall continue to hold as classics, for I have never seen another book fall into the hands of so many different people.

I actually kind of loved this book, sure maybe I’d change a few things but honestly it gives me fanfic vibes and I’m so here for that. I love reading books that are fun every once in a while and twilight is fun in a sense. There’s still that edge to it which makes it cool, but at the end of the day it’s a book about a girl liking a boy who just happens to be a vampire.
And to the sparkling thing everyone seems to be so upset about: you’re supposed to think “glitter!” or “omg sparkly it’s so pretty” that’s the point. It’s supposed to be something that lures you into a vampire’s mouth and your mind is supposed to abandon all thoughts of danger. Has no one ever heard of or been taught aggressive mimicry in biology? It’s how predators mimic something more harmless therefore seeming innocent to their prey.

I have this book tabbed and my favourite tab category is "Mormon Moments". There is more than one.

Bella Swan's insecurities are so big that I can feel them myself each time she speaks. But, well, I have a lot of criticism for this book, and it would not be anything new. Someone has probably thought the same things about this book and more.
I won't complain because I remember the second book, and THAT ONE is going to be hell, so thank God for small favors. This book, for the most part, is OK.
It's a good book to read if you want to pass the time, and have a stable self-esteem that won't be ruined each time unnatural and unachievable beauty is mentioned.
(Pre-read: Found myself with the entire series and no other books to read for a while, and so here I am re-reading a series I haven't touched since I was I fifth grade.)
