Interesting concept but didn't really catch me. I kept checking to see how long I had left. I found the audio book very distracting because I couldn't figure out why some of the characters had a Scottish brogue. Had some fun moments but I kept feeling like I was being man-splained to.

i liked it enough, but wished it had either committed to being a dystopian end of the world survival plot or a murder mystery.
the murder didn’t come in until a third of the way through so the first bit felt random, and by the end, it seemed like everybody had motive, nobody had alibis, and the population was gonna die in two days anyway.
it just didn’t grab me! the ending was solid and i enjoyed the final twist(s), but it just felt a bit all over the place to me.

This was a cool idea, but not well executed. I couldn't get into this one.

It was certainly a page turner and had unique concepts. However, it was grappling with so many big ideas that I’m not sure it executed them as well as I’d like. I did love the narration style- unusual and effective.
I found the humans outside of the one “murdered” to be relatively one dimensional and had very little sympathy for them. It would’ve been more interesting if those characters were more complex.
