I have really been wanting to get back into Meghan Quinn’s books and this was the perfect book to do it. I truly enjoyed this book, the slow burn was a little too slow for me, and the FMC did annoy me a tad tad bit. But, I did enjoy everything else about the story. Let me start by saying Wilder has my heart the way he was wrote to be so open and honest about so much made me tear up towards the end. He was so open about his trauma and why he needed to take a step back to figure out himself before a relationship. I loved Scottie she was such a fun FMC to read and I loved how she was ready to stand up against everyone to prove she able to hold her own. She for sure broke her walls down after a bad breakup, and I enjoyed that. I enjoyed how the chemistry was truly slow, but when it busted open it just flowed so fast. I think what I love about Meghan’s books is she knows how to banter and bring the spice and balance it all. Truly such a perfect summer romance! 🥰

I greatly enjoyed this book. I loved how Wilder helped Scottie to regain her confidence. I loved how Wilder not only showed, but told Scottie what type of man he was. Sanders and his corky ways grew on me. I’m unsure if I would want to attend therapy with him though. Watching the love story play out made me happy. Overall I found this book to be very enjoyable.
