Cute and quick audiobook! Some things are destined to happen, even if it's your pets playing matchmaker.

Cute little novella about two pets basically parent trapping their owners.

Awww, cute!

I liked the cat and dog are best friends story. Can you imagine? But there are a lot of instances where different species forced to live in the same vicinity (forced proximity) has created unlikely friends. I love it!

This book was full of the romance clichés (jealousy toward an ex, the boss who doesn't value her work, the motorcycle owner hero with a complicate work schedule, I cant stand him but he is hot so i forguve him, etc) that people who don't read/don't like this genre throw at us all the time.

I was hoping so much more with the cover presenting a fat heroine and pets (who happen to be very involved into the MCs getting their HEA). But the story didn't deliver. Their only connection is to find the other hot, without much character build-up. I've read novellas as short as this one, with way better MCs developement and far less unoriginal plot twists. That's why I know it's possible to do way better. Which is clearly not the case here.

Thankfully this novella was only 1h30 and will be quickly forgotten.

I am a simple woman. You give me animals and romance and I am here for it. The animal antics to make this relationship worked were a little cheesy but I have a cat so sue me for enjoying this. I listened to a few Audible Originals in a row, and I think The Set Up was better, but I still really liked this one.

Annoying neighbours to lovers, cute pets, and a great romance will always get me!

Picked this up looking for a short audiobook to pass some time. The blurb sounded fun & the narrator is one I enjoy. The narration was good, but the story didn't live up to the blurb. The female mc was annoying from the start & I'd have slammed the door in her face if she was my neighbor.
Most of the story was devoted to the female MC's job woes, and chasing down the two lost pets. The "romance" came in the epilogue, but there really weren't sparks between this couple.

It had funny moments, but overall it was pretty shallow.

Cute but nothing special. Just a light hearted read
