Más intrigas y más sociedades postapocalípticas llenas de misterio, pero me falta una conclusión. Espero que el tercero lo haga!

this was actually so disappointing
sad fast-paced

I LOVE Lois Lowry and her books! Thought-provoking and easy to read and enjoy. It had been a while since I had read the Giver, but though this is a part of the series they can be read independently. You should read this book before reading Messenger (the next in the series).

Great book, very interesting if you find yourself liking the characters, but may be a little too slow paced for someone who doesn’t connect with the characters.😊

This was a nice book. I didn't like it as much as I liked The Giver, though. Mainly because i didn't understand the ending as much. It didn't feel like all the problems were resolved. However it wasn't a very predictable ending and it surprised me, which I found entertaining. I would recommend this book.

There's something so lovely about reading a childhood favorite and feeling the bits of memory surfacing and reconnecting to the whole story. I think this is a perfect counter point to The Giver, and I prefer Kira as a protagonist.
