Junk. Portrayal of the South is cringe inducing. Only paid $0.25 for it at a used book sale though so I can't complain too much. :)

I didn't enjoy this book. I obtained it for free and thought that this author would give me an enjoyable romatic read. It was not.
This character followed a woman he didn't know well to a whole to new place to live. Then began not trusting her.
Then they delt with a pregnancy that was challenging.
Then...well...no spoilers, but I suffered through this book for an ending that was not satisfying.
No romance, no learning (unless you want to learn about the problems with birth defects) and no characters to love.

Better than "True Believer." More interesting. I enjoyed the part where their relationship was devolving because they are both awful people. Still an infuriating read. Its like Sparks keeps an outdated list of gender/relationship stereotypes next to his desk to make sure he fits them all in.

The end was rather boring. A tad touching. But SO safe. Why so safe, Sparks?

do NOT read

I had a hard time putting this book down. I just couldn't wait to see what would happen next. I am so glad Sparks decided to continue Jeremy and Lexie's story. I appreciate the fact that Sparks creates realistic relationships - showing struggles and hardships that most people going through and not a "nothing is wrong-we never fight-picture perfect relationship". Usually endings of books keep me wanting more (which, depending on the book, could be a good thing or a bad thing), but I was surprisingly satisfied with the ending of this book. Nicholas Sparks fans will not be disappointed.

By far the worst Sparks novel i've ever read -_- a waste of time!

was pregnant when I read this. Not good timing, but I probably still wouldn't have liked it.

not one of his best

Review: Trying something new with my reviews… so swipe to see that fun-ness. Okay, on to the review. I felt like this one was almost a slow-mystery for half the story, and a romance novel after that. I thought each of the main characters and secondary characters were there with reason, as opposed to a filler. Overall, I enjoyed this one. I have read True Believer and don’t really remember these characters from that story, so to me, this was a standalone as opposed to a sequel to their story there.

Book was okay, not my favorite read. The ending was the most compelling part of the story and really shocked me.
