Serenading Heartbreak is angsty read with a friends to lovers vibe that touches on series issues. It was good but I had a few issues with it that are spoilers so I won't go into go into detail about them. Despite that I found it to be an enjoyable read, one that had me engaged and invested. I recommend to those who love angst and love triangles.

This book had me like a yo-yo, but in the best way possible. Back and forth between two really great guys. One that is her brother's first friend, her first crush, her first love, her first everything. The other she meets while in school and is everything her first wasn't. She is torn and finds herself yo-yoing a bit too. I liked both of them, but damn-it I loved both guys for her. I am happy with the ending, they all got what they deserved in the end. I ran the gamut of emotions. Happiness, sadness, anger, shock, even laughed a little. This is classic Ella in that the angst is high and she writes it only as she can. Trust me, you want to read this book!

Serenading Heartbreak is a new adult romance featuring a love triangle that will have you ripping your hair out and clutching your heart! The angst alone will drive you to the edge! You'll curse, smile, sigh, laugh, tear up, and possibly even throw your book across the room depending on how crazy the characters make you, so you know, basically the same as you do with every other Ella Fields novel. Lol The woman is the queen of angst, and for an angst whore like myself, she is a godsend!

Every single time Ella announces a new novel, I lose my shit. I know it's going to be utterly captivating, fantastically written, full of the feels, steamy, and overflowing with angst. She never let's me down, and she certainly didn't with this one. I couldn't put the book down once I started reading it. I even went without sleep, because I had to find out how it all ended. I was on the edge of my seat trying to figure out who Stevie was going to choose. Everett or Aiden?

There could be only one choice in the end. I truly believe the man Stevie picked is who she was meant to be with without a shadow of a doubt, but I would be lying if I told you I was one hundred percent happy with the outcome. How could I be when my heart was torn in two? I began to care for both men, and I couldn't help but feel heartbroken for the "loser." I honestly wish we got a book watching his happily ever after unfold to make me feel better, but you know what? That just goes to show you how amazing of a writer Ella is!

She made me invested in every character's fate and happiness. I could see what there was to love about each of them and what made them all deserve a happily ever after. My heart was tethered to all three characters, and I truly believe that is what makes a good love triangle. If one is an obvious throw away love interest, what's the point?

Love triangles are one of the most controversial tropes in all of romance, and because of that, I'm sure there will be a myriad of opinions on this book. The one thing that nobody can dispute though is that the writing in this book is superb. Whether you love who Stevie ends up with or not, your eyes will be glued to the page from start to finish. Your feelings will become involved in a big way, and you'll have lots of opinions on the actions of each of the main characters. If you're like me, you'll need to purge yourself of all of your emotions when you're done, and if you don't have a book friend that's read it, I'm here for you! Lol

New adult romance fans that don't shy away from an ass load of angst and a love triangle, this one's for you!

P. S. Ella if you read this, write Hendrix's story for us. Please and thank you! :p

No

WHEN I TELL YOU THIS BOOK WRECKED ME !! I was not prepared for this.

Here I was just thinking it was a cute love triangle story between her first love (her brother’s best friend) and her second love (a baseball player) it’s way more than that!!! I cried 3 times in this book!

I knew in the first 26 pages that I was gonna love this. This is my most tabbed book ever so far.

- spicy, heartbreaking, amazing !!!

If you do not like angst, heartbreak, or triangles, this book is not for you. It’s very possible that this author is not for you.
I know when I pick up on of her books that my heart, at the very least, is going to be twisted and bruised and left achy. She does angst and complicated better than nearly anyone else out there. I must admit that I parse her books out. She is not an author that I binge. I gotta have some time to process and breathe.
In some ways this book gave me Carnage vibes, older brothers friend with a difficult childhood completely falls for younger sister at first sight. But he’s not good enough for her. The boys form a band and hit the road. The drinking and sex are too much to resist and a heart is broken. Or maybe both are. The girl meets someone new and the boy must change because he needs her

This book is not as tragic as Carnage but it did twist me up. Both of the guys have pluses and minuses. There are circumstances that sort of shift her focus. I cannot say that I enjoy back and forth in a book but I have known it to happen in life so I can handle it.

I liked it and enjoyed that there was a solid resolution for all the main players. Life is rarely simple and these book shows you complications.

WHY WOULD SHE CHOOSE HIM OVER HIM? WHY????

I kinda like love triangle, but only for the drama, this book had a lot of unnecessary drama and the guy was honestly kinda annoying… Like get over yourself you know? And outside of that i don‘t remember anything about this book
