Enjoying this series featuring all sorts of clever and crazy twists.

Not the kind worth killing… but still pretty good! All my questions from the last book were answered, though I feel like they were a bit of a cop out. Wasn’t obsessed with the ending but the beginning and in between was awesome. Fast read, a good mix of the last book & something new

disappointed because the first one was so good but this one fell flat to me there was really only one twist and the rest was very straightforward

3.5 stars for this second installment.

I read all three of this series in the month of June and I was excited for this second installment. The first book really did a great job of setting up the Henry/Lily relationship and though these books can be read as stand alones, they definitely function better as a series.

In this book, twisted teens turn into twisted adults, plotting gruesome crimes and evading capture for years. I loved seeing the history of the connections over the years. Henry pulling Lily back into the fold, needing her help and employing her 'evil' expertise was great.

This book is much more focused on Henry than Lily and I wish there was a little bit more of her in the book, as I really like her character. Henry's limerick writing was a little much as well, made him a character that was harder to root for. Overall though, I was hooked from the start and immediately moved onto the next book.

Great follow up to its predecessor, The Kind Worth Killing! Though you don't need to read that one to follow this story; it does give more insight into the two main characters and the dynamic of their relationship. Swanson is back!

Interesting characters and story line

This was a fantastic sequel to A Kind Worth Killing! It was amazing to revisit Henry and Lily from the first book. There is something about these books that just sucks you in! When I wasn’t reading them, I was thinking about them. Aspects from both books appeared in my dreams. While I was reading them, I was completely sucked into the story. I appreciated the multiple points of view and the multiple story lines. It was so satisfying to watch all the puzzle pieces fall nicely into place. I will never stop recommending these books!
