OMG. Loved it. And I cannot say a single thing that wouldn't spoil things. My best advice? Go into both book 1 and book 2 as blind as you can. But, you definitely have to do book 1 first (The Kind Worth Killing).

I’m giving this a 3.5. I absolutely LOVED the first book in this series, The Kind Worth Killing. Unfortunately, this second book fell a little flat for me. It started out really good and I was very intrigued. However the last quarter of the book was just meh for me. I’m still planning on reading the 3rd book, but this one was a let down for sure.

Disappointed with this book:( I had loved the first book so I was really excited for this one, but everything was so predictable and the ending was lackluster and abrupt. I enjoy the way this author writes, but this story lacked any sort of meaningful plot.

A good sequel. I liked that it had the same set up as the first book.

It would have behooved me to have re-familiarized myself with The Kind Worth Killing. As a result, it was a slow start but it clicked in and I'm sold on more Henry and Lily books.

Intricate and very character driven. I liked Lily and Kimball last time so it was great to see them again. As always, I love the SK easter eggs.

This was a great fast paced thriller and sequel to “The Kind Worth Killing”. Can’t wait to read more from this author!
