I LOVE TYLER BATEMAN!!!!! The way Gray compliments him so well in their relationship I love. One of my favorite hockey romances with the bother's best friend troupe thrown in, makes me fall in love with this book even more. If you're looking for a good brother's best friend book I highly recommend this book!

DNF…

I absolutely loved this story, I feel like it was everything that I needed to read. It was crazy at times but I got the ending I wanted

I have a lot of thoughts about this book. The first book in the series Luck Hit was so good and I was obsessed with it! But this one was pretty much the opposite. I was excited going into it bc I liked the idea of it (Gracie’s long term crush on Tyler and brothers best friend). But we get nothing about Gracie or Tyler in this book besides the physical stuff. There seemed to be a hugely lacking emotional connection, didn’t hear about Gracie’s personal life at all, the third act drama wasn’t even handled or talked about between the FMC and MMC (we just get her thoughts about it). And the end plot twist was out of pocket and I feel like grasping at straws to try and give Tyler a happier family he comes from but didn’t seem realistic at all seeing as we didn’t even know this character before. I can’t even begin to imagine how much it would such to grow up how we find out Tyler did. But he is an adult now (at least not a kid since in 20’s) and he needs to started acting somewhat maturely. He did deal with his problems and felt like he took out a lot of things on Gracie and she didn’t deserve that. I honestly don’t know what all she saw in him sometimes expect for that he was hot and has a hard past. I wish we got to see her really put up some boundaries to have a healthy relation with Tyler. I just felt like all they had was a physical connection and that’s not really my thing. I don’t mind when it comes afterwards but with the way Tyler acted sometimes and then they got intimate all of a sudden without resolving anything or even talking. It got annoying and boring to read for me personally. I so still love the characters but having this book play out the way it did just wasn’t my fav.

It wasn’t as good as the first one. It was an alright book but I didn’t really feel much emotion from it and found the dialogue of the characters boring

The story between Gracie and Tyler is enjoyable enough. The undertones of misogyny and side jabs at women make it hard to focus and enjoy their characters.
