I tried to like this book….but the characters were flat and unlikeable as well as unbelievable. I didn’t care enough about any of them and found them to be caricatures and sad bitter stereotypes. It’s hard to believe three women developed these characters

i was having a fun time until the sudden reveal happened- after which, the authors got told they had to finish the whole book in a hour? why does it run off like that?

Morag was so bullshit- we knew nothing about her at all, and it feels like a real cheat out to make her the murderer, and then she just,,,,,,, never returns? they don’t know where she went? pretty weak to be honest.

The insta, everyone-gets-paired-off love also ruined it. Emma sleeps with someone one time and it’s true love forever? she’s literally known the man for less then a week. why is this plot in there.

Speaking of. WHAT IS WITB THE HELICOPTER. this is NEVER EXPLAINED. WHY ARE THEY IN A HELICOPTER. WHY IS CHIP THERE. like it’s actually stupid and ridiculous how annoyed i got with this ending because it really felt like they were insulting the readers

Don’t waste your time. The ending is so childish and the authors are insulting our intelligence with this weird, ribbon tied ending. It’s almost like the end of a play, where all the characters come and bow at the end.

. the one gay guy and it’s used as a gotcha moment. actually low-key embarrassing and pathetic that they thought it was okay to just make the only gay character the punchline
