For such a strange structure a lot of heart. Enjoyed. Read in two days.

This book made me laugh many times. Also, I hold deep respect for Nicky.

Read this for my bookclub, and I’m not sure I would have finished it otherwise. It’s snarky but generally inoffensive, it’s the daily diary of a bookshop owner. Having worked retail and as the main shorter of books gifted in bulk quantities to my library for a span of seven years, there was nothing new for me in this, but your mileage may vary. I lost all romantic notions about bookshop work a long time ago. (I did feel mildly guilty for reading this on my Kindle.)
