A classic for a reason. I loved this book as a third grader, and even now, seeing it in the context of other magical realism, I think it's fantastic. Many of us strive to live forever, but fail to think about the consequences of immortality (and immutability). I remember asking myself whether I would make the same choice Winnie did when I first read this book; I am still not sure what my answer is.

I think this is the fifth time I have read this book. I love love love it :)

It was an honor to receive an ALC of the 50th Anniversary Audiobook, narrated by Alexis Bledel. Revisiting one of my favorite stories as a kid and having it narrated by the actress who played the main character in the film (another one of my favorites) was so beautifully nostalgic. It’s amazing to see how the story affects me differently than it did when I was younger. Tuck Everlasting is a timeless story that has a beautiful message about the circle of life, and I’m glad that the publisher is able to re-release it so that the story can be loved by new audiences.

I read this book back in middle school and I think it was one of the books that really got me into reading fantasy.  There are so many good lessons in here too and it is just a lovely book no matter the format.

The narrator did a great job bringing this amazing story to life.
