Tuck Everlasting

It was a great book with her meeting an immortal family, and her falling in love with one of them. Great story.
adventurous emotional lighthearted

This was a lovely little story that softens the blow of musings on mortality with a cozy setting. The charming descriptions of nature made it very vivid and somehow managed to make this feel like a feel-good story even though it isn't, quite. I do wish some things were a bit more fleshed-out, though (or maybe I just wanted the book to be longer).

*SPOILER FREE*

It was a solid read, I really enjoyed it! I loved that our main character was a child and that she cared so deeply for the Tucks. Jesse was an amazing character, but my absolute favorite character/characters were the toads and how they played a prominent role in the story. It felt like they had deeper meaning even if they were just there. Very lovely and atmospheric. Four stars.

I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed reading this book to my granddaughter.

This was a nice story, or "old wives' tale". I think it would be great for 4th or 5th graders. It is a moral tale.

Time is a wheel...

Elementary school reading class. I cried, gonna be honest. Would probably cry again if I read it now.
