What an ending.
Five stars ✨✨✨✨ for this installment. The story never stopped. Vi and Taavin’s journey is certainly continuing not to be an easy one. I couldn’t stop reading and was put through the ringer. I laughed, I cringed, pretty sure I have a crook in my shoulders from tensing up during some scenes. I need the next book, like now!

I think the pace of this book was better than the last one and was more enjoyable in its action.
I wasn't able to predict what would happen next which was great. Although the author's world building is great, I have been unable to connect with the characters from this book series, even 3 books into it. I don't find the love story that compelling.

Well, that happened.
So, I do this thing where I binge a book, only for there to (half the time) be books in the series not released yet. The responsible thing would have been to wait until October (I think that’s when book four comes out) to devour this number.
Because now all the things have happened and I don’t know what to do with my life.
This book gave me just... just all the feels. I would give it all the stars for one particular recurring character I LOVE, though I gotta say, Vi is turning out to be one of my favourite leading protagonists. She’s just incredible, as is this instalment to the Vortex Chronicles. I’m gonna stop there, because if I continue, I don’t think I’ll stop.

I knew the twist was coming. But honestly my head hurts trying to understand it all.
LITERALLY WHAT DID I JUST READ. Cliffhanger on par with SJM. I’m glad I found this series after it was finished because if I had to wait to see what happened next I simply would have ceased to exist
