I really enjoyed the first book in this series and was worried the second wouldn't measure up. I needn't have worried at all. The book was well paced and tense throughout. The summary of events in the previous book was well placed so that it felt like a natural part of the story rather than a 'previously on' sort of thing. I loved the introduction of the new characters and Celestine grew wonderfully. While this is as different as it can be in plot and world from the Hunger Games, the growth of the main character and the strength of the female lead mirrored that. I'm definitely looking for more from Cecelia Ahern.

an absolutely brilliant continuation of flawed
my review for flawed stands for perfect too - the plot is fast and exciting, the characters are well written and it’s easy to empathise with them and react as a reader to the situations that are happening in the book
i loved it
very satisfyingly ties everything together and accounts for loose ends

It was quite an improvement over the first part of this series. But still not good enough. The drama picks off from the start only. Celestine fighting against The Guild and hiding from them. There was a small section towards the end that had you on the edge of your seats but apart from that it wasn't that intriguing as it could have been.
I picked up this novel because I have read Cecelia Ahern's previous works but sadly this wasn't for me and it disappointed me.

I couldn't finish this book as it didn't take my fancy. I think the duology would be better off as one book rather than two, as it felt slightly long winded and there were some unnecessary parts and over descriptive scenes.
First of all, I am giving this book a one-star rating while I actually want to give it a negative five. Reading this was worse than reading Twilight. Celestine and Carrick have less chemistry than Bella and Edward.
She puts her whole life and everything on the line for what? Carrick. A guy who was in the cell next to her for a couple of days. What the hell?!
All through the book the only thing she that's on her mind is Carrick and his "I will find you." She acts like there is one else who will understand her. Not even her fellow Flawed.
She gets the offer of life: freedom for herself and her loved ones, the chance to lead a rebellion. And she leaves it all for Carrick?! Okay, I admit, it all works out in the end, but that does not make this any else stupid.
And the love story. Cecelia Ahern wrote books like P.S. I Love You and Where Rainbows End, and then this? Carrick and Celestine's pairing had no chemistry. They will soon grow tired of it. It was flimsier than a high-school romance.

I really enjoyed the first book in this series and I was excited to see how the author was going to wrap up the story. This book was very fast paced and I got through it very quickly.
I really liked the characters this book although I wasn't a huge fan of the love triangle which was more prominent in this book. I liked the authors writing and the world that she has created. The ending of this book was quite good and I am glad that the author didn't try to drag out the story.
Overall I really enjoyed this and I was happy with the conclusion of the series. I am interested to see what the author will bring out in the future.
