Clever but felt empty.

“Be careful who you trust” - me to all the trustful idiots in this book

I was ready to abandon the book around 40% (I was reading it on my Kindle) but then I decided to give it one more try and I got into it enough to finish it off. It took me awhile to care about the main character and the mystery of what had happened enough to keep reading.

The backward timeline reminded me of the movie "Momento".

Very blah book. I loved We Were Liars and went into this hoping for another great twist, but no. There are no surprises... just a pretty straightforward tale of a horrible person.

I really enjoyed this book. I couldn't put it down and I was genuinely surprised by the ending even after I thought I wouldn't be. I still have a few questions after finishing it but not enough that it ruined the experience of reading this book for me.

This is one of those books where you don’t know what’s reality and what’s the narrator’s invented story - sometimes in a good way, other times a bad way!

I am now convinced that E lockhart is a one hit wonder. I have read five of her books now and only liked one. It's not me, it's you.

This book was basically hundreds of pages of nothing. There were words. There wer characters. There was not substance. You finish more confused than you should ever finish anything short or trying to decrypt a military grade cypher. You finish with more questions than answers. You are in no way emotinally effected by the book.

I haved everyone in this thing, a bunch of preppy, rich, entitled teenagers being bratty. One of them happens to be a con artist. Two people who you don't know or care about die. Lot's of make up changing and travel happens. The end. Yawn. < that's the whole book, I just saved you hours.

I recieved this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. This is just my opinion please respect it and i shall respect yours.
