Really enjoyed this however it was a bit confusing going back in time yet that also made it unique, I also wasn’t a huge fan of the ending, I felt it was left too open
Exact rating - 2.5
Ehh it was okay not a bad book it did have me drawn into it in certain chapters and scenes but it was kind of predictable to me, I think I've read too many thrillers that have this crazy psycho that wants to live someone else's life. Saw it coming but it was okay 2.5 stars from me is resonable. 3 stars if I'm being generous.

I agree with a lot of the reviews that there just wasn't much to this book. I literally had to force myself to finish and there wasn't even a huge surprise or reason to keep going. We never learn more about Jule and why she does the things she does. I didn't really enjoy it at all.
Wow.. Just wow. These characters are excellent and the story is outstanding.
I just was honestly confused by this book and it seemed hard to follow.
3.5 / 5
I picked this book up for two dollars not having any idea what it was about and I was not disappointed. I read most of this book in one sitting as it's incredibly fast-paced and entertaining from beginning to end. I enjoyed the layers within the story of references, time, and what kind of person our main character Jule is. The only reason I give this book three stars is that although I enjoy it if you asked me to summarize this story I don't think I could off the top of my head.

I am so confused by this book. It wasn't particularly good nor was it particularly bad. I enjoyed the premise but the book revealed too much of itself as it went along to have any real suspense. I couldn't give it more than 3 stars because of that but I feel like this book will end up on my favorite books of 2017 as well as my most disappointing. It's a weird twist of emotions that I still can't really wrap my head around. So my advice would be to read it and see what you think of it....then let me know because I would like to hear your opinion.
“You could go anywhere, do anything, if you were difficult to hurt.”
“I never think about it. You stay away long enough, there doesn’t seem like much to go back for.”
“The important thing is this: to be able at any moment to sacrifice what we are for what we could become”
“How amazing to be able to play an instrument […] Whatever happened to you, whatever else went on in your life, you could look down at your hands and think, I play the piano. You’d always know that about yourself.
It was like being able to fight, […] . And being able to change accents. They were powers that lived in your body. They would never leave you, no matter how you looked, no matter who loved or didn’t love you.”

This was just okay. I liked the format of the book; how we start at the end of the story and then move backwards in time, and as we are given more details about Jule's past we can piece together the mystery. Unfortunately none of the reveals were very surprising or really all that interesting. The book is a short and easy read, and it's entertaining enough, but didn't blow me away.
If only she could go back in time, Jule felt, she would be a better person. Or a different person. She would be more herself. Or maybe less herself
This book. T H I S B O O K was a wild ride. If you love mistery and being on edge this is the perfect story for you. It starts with the ends and ends with the start.
You never know what's coming next and isn't that what a good book is about
