2.5 stars. The plot was intriguing, especially the last half of the book. It was interesting to read a book written in reverse order, but ultimately Genuine Fraud fell flat. The beginning was quite slow though, and the pacing was bizarre. Each time the plot picked up the reader was suddenly transported months or weeks backwards which often times lost the sense of urgency building in each chapter. Plus there were some loose ends that never were resolved by the end such as Overall I was disappointed with this book, but might give the author another shot in the future.

I REALLY wanted to love this one because We Were Liars is one of my all time favorite books. However, this book just fell flat to me. The way it’s structured is pretty different and unique which makes it a quick and easy read. I just kept waiting for a twist that never came
A quick, enjoyable read with a fair few twists and turns. The backwards time frame is a little confusing at first but makes sense soon after.
At first I didn’t like the backwards storytelling but it made the book so much better.
4.5 Stars.
Woah, woah, woah, woah. I need to process this a bit, and put all the events in order in my mind. This was such a great story. I haven’t read anything in this style before! I loved it!
I wasn’t satisfied with the last chapter and the very ending. But hey, we all desire different things.

The ending was good and left me thinking but I still feel a little confused about the ending being a mash up jule and imogen and did imogen kill jule, but jule killed imogen?? i was a bit confused but very engaged
This book was just ok for me. I read and LOVED another book by this author (We Were Liars) so I decided to give this book a try. It came full circle at the end, so I felt there was a decent plot and conclusion, but I didn't really care for the writing format. "Two weeks before that....a month before....three days before...." etc. It was a little confusing, trying to figure out the time frames and who said what and when.
It confused me a bit being in reverse order tho I liked it!I'm torn between 3.75 and 4 stars.I liked it tho the characters were just I dont know unlikable, especially Jules
