Oh man. This book. Here we deal with all the repercussions of Emersyn’s decision to return home, and whoo boy are there repercussions. The guys are a mess, all wanting to go after her and bring her back. Milo is stupid and says if she wanted to go then leave her be. The rest of them absolutely refuse, they WILL get her back. Meanwhile poor Emersyn is in h*ll. Eventually they discover through her friend Lainey that she is in a treatment facility, and a plan is hatched for Freddie to go in as a patient and get her out. Freddie really shines here, I already had a soft spot for him but now I just love him so much more. All the guys are amazing, Liam needs to stop worrying about stealing his brother’s girl and realize Emersyn has room in her heart for all of them. Doc needs to get over himself, I still kinda wanna punch him on her behalf. Milo is thankfully coming around by the end. There’s a lot of heavy subject matter and trauma in this book but it’s very well written and dealt with. I’m absolutely loving this series and can’t wait for more

This book made my head spin. It constantly had me questioning everything and everyone. Seeing for of the past from different perspectives was great and helped me see more sides to each story.
My heart shattered for Emersyn and everything she was put through in this book. Seeing her lose so much of herself in that place was hard.
Her uncle is a piece of trash and everyone that helped him is too.
And way to go Freddie for sticking to his guns with his gut feeling about Emersyn👏🏼👏🏼
Milo and Lainey is something I absolutely need. But I also want her with Adam and Ezra.
I AM SO PROUD OF EMERSYN getting it done with that creepy Dr. Sneeze. Brought a whole new meaning to office supplies😂
I love that the guys are showing her that they are there in anyway that she needs.
I also love the steps both Emersyn and Milo are taking in becoming closer.

book 4

Emersyn’s story continues… Not a whole lot happens in this book but you do get answers about Emersyn’s and Freddie’s pasts. Which are very similar. But my favorite thing about this book is Lainey and Emersyn’s worlds colliding where now everyone knows their connection. I’m hoping we are going to get a whole lot of Lainey, Adam, and Ezra now that Liam knows the connection. Plus the spark between her and Milo is very exciting.

There are a few things I have come to learn to expect from Heather Long: finding new book boyfriends, getting the feels no matter how much you fight them, and each book she adds to a series always makes you want more.

Dirty Devil is the 4th book in the 82nd Street Vandals series and it packs a punch. If you are familiar with the series, you will understand the trials and trauma that all of these characters have had to face. Well, this book gives more of the back story and answers lots of previous questions I had. However, it still leaves me going…WTH! I truly love this series with all the emotions and grit that these characters have. I can not recommend it enough. TW/18+

Not your typical romance

This isn't a romance. It is clearly part of a romance story arc, but don't expect sunshine, rainbows, and unicorn farts. This is dark, gritty, and disturbing. And the cliffhanger is vicious. I feel like I'll be biting my nails til Brutal Fighter comes out in May. But just so you know, it was totally worth the heartache.

Freddie casually being the biggest badass of this entire series really rocks my world. Hated having so many flashbacks interrupt the tension of the current storyline all the time, but it was good to see glimpses of the past anyway.

Dirty Devil is book 4 in the 82 Vandals series. A dark enemies to lovers reverse harem gang romance.

With Emersyn going back to her uncle, her monster and tormenter all to protect them.
I love the multiple POV’s even with the slow burn and plot unfolding of this series they add so much to story. The change in narrative builds more for the suspense and anticipation.

The character development throughout the series build deeper within Dirty Devil. The exploration of what not only taunts them but the darkness they’ve experienced themselves.

This series is so emotionally heartbreaking and disturbing and this book is no different. It will crush your soul, make you chuckle and break your heart. But that’s what makes it so addictive and so captivating.

While I myself don’t find the content triggering, please be sure to read the trigger warnings for this book/series BEFORE reading. They can be found in the foreword.
