Literally so annoying. Why do they always have such brats for siblings in these books and why do the parents refuse to believe the MC about literally anything. It's so frustrating. Tara ruined the entire book.

2 stars. I only liked the ending to this. Other than that this one was a pain to get through. The main character, Michael was okay. I felt so bad for him because his family sucked so bad and they loved antagonizing and picking at him. The plot was kind of cool but became a bit convoluted by the end and fell apart. This series is so hit or miss with me.

This book wasn't too bad. I think this book sparked my liking of cuckoo clocks but the story wasn't what I would call the greatest. It could have had a higher spookiness.
This is definitely one of my favourite Goosebumps books. It has an interesting premise and is one of the better written books in the series.
