Woman focused and fun story with interesting adventures, characters, plots and sub plots. Many feel good resolutions.
3.5 ⭐️ It took a little longer to get into than I hoped, but this was a fun story that kept unfolding to reveal in-depth characters and a lot of heart.
Fun read until it wasn't
No spoilers here. This was a fun journey until the end when it became ridiculous. Granted the entire premise was ludicrous, but the author kept it engaging and intriguing.
Once we got to the climax, it became upsettingly cheesy. Such a shame to diminish the story with unbelievable and silly dialog.

I found this one super boring :( which I was disappointed about and I also hated Tanner just objectively as a character. The backstory was way more interesting and I wish we would have had more of that. But for something that is marketed as an “absolute blast” I was expecting more riveting things to happen then sitting in a motel for three days
Was a fun read, love Louise the 80yo "got a secret up her sleeve, not your average grandmother" character and her relationship with tanner.
Wish authors would actually listen to teenagers talk than just write what they think they sound like, I always find that jarring xD

I appreciate a book that, even when I figure out the destination, takes a different path than expected to get there. This was cute.
