The through line of the connection between children and the paranormal was very compelling, and took me back to being a child that was obsessed with death.
The whole collection is of a high quality with no absolute duds, but Angelita Unearthed, Where Are You Dear Heart?, Meat and Kids Who Come Back were particularly excellent. The former and the latter in particular really stuck with me after reading and were stories I think would work well fleshed out into novels in their own right.
