Maximum Ride: The Manga, Vol. 3 by James Patterson

The art is still the only thing really carrying this as a series. Plot is kinda boring and this volume mostly sees the flock chillin' their heels under the watchful protection of an ally. Most of the characters come off as too bratty, even given what they've been through in their lives.

Angel's abilities are problematic, but it's interesting to note that Max at least recognizes that it could become an issue by vol. 3.

A+ cover art. When I was first reading the novels, Fang was my no.1. I definitely prefer Iggy now. Humor and cuteness to boot!

Even though this volume has some of the most unbelievable content in it, shockingly it's the one I hate the least (so far).

This did not let me down and his just gets better and better. I couldn't believe Ari is still alive.

The art is just... amazing! How can she capture their facial expressions so perfectly? She does a really, really good job at capturing the elements of this story, the emotion, the humor, the irony, the characters- everything! Not that I've read a lot of them, but this is definitely the best action graphic novel series I have ever read.
