Representation is important and discussions about different identities is so important

That being said, it was a pretty sloppy book. Plot points and people all over the place, so many relationships, some important some not...There was an element of “this book was not for me” being a straight 35 year old woman factor here because the angst it painful at times. Like cringe worthy angst, with elements of surrealism because my youth was not wild.

Not rating because I used the words “my youth” in This review. I can’t take away what this book means to others by putting a rating on it.
