This book was too cute. Definitely gave me some butterflies while reading

To be honest, everything about this book was perfect. It is the perfect rivals to lovers story. Even though it’s a simple high school romance about two 17-year-olds, it was so cute, funny, and interesting that I was smiling all through. The perfect palate cleanser after reading something heavy.
Sadie and Julius were such a joy to follow. Their banter and bickering kept me hooked the entire time. Even though I lean more towards mature romances now, I’m glad I picked this one up because it made me giggle and gave me such a good time.

I felt like I was a kid reading under the covers again with this one! I loved the Sadie and Julius, and I thought Liang’s scope of the novel was perfect. ERG. This was a Louisa recommendation, and I ate it up. (Which is weird because normally academic rivals don’t do it for me!)

it was okay, the ending felt a bit rushed
the tension was so fun, might just own the book to relive it
also the dialogue was so natural and so funny
