This was such a fun read. I just finished watching One Piece (the live adaptation) and felt like some pirate sea faring fun. This was less pirate than i expected but was more Little Mermaid flavoured than i expected which was fun and creative and it was just an all round good time.

this was rly sweet i enjoyed it!! it was super fast paced so easy to fly through n it feels like so much happened for only 300pgs

The plot was fantastic and had me gripped, although I was disappointed by the ending (
was very ready to be devastated, and sad I didn’t get that
). The writing was fine, but definitely not the highlight.
Loved the yearning, alongside the adorable-ness of the crushes, had me kicking my feet and giggling.

It is one of those special books, which I loved from the beginning itself. I felt myself pulled into that world and I can't resist it. It was a great book. Wish it would never end. Loved the siblings bond so much. I want another book from everyone's POV. It would be awesome to see this world from different pov's especially kest.

From the first chapter, I thought that Garrett and his other siblings will be mocking him because he was different from them. I was happy to see that Garrett cared him except from the occasional teasing. I loved the bonding when kest arrived to them literally as a bird. They were so protective of their little brother.

I was filled with rage when dara scolded Tal and insulted his family that they don't do anything to end the common people suffering. They only care about their royalty etc etc. She had known him only for five minutes and she started talking rubbish.

It was so amusing to read Tal behavior toward Athlen. He finded him attractive and blushed furiously when Athlen touched him. Even a mere comment made him blush. He's such a sweet hearted person. He even cried over Athlen when he thought athlen died throwing himself overboard.

Athlen's behavior was super strange. He doesn't knew the difference between sea glass and pearl. When I pondered over him surviving water and arriving before Tal's ship, I thought he was sea witch. As Tal has fire magic and if Athlen was sea witch maybe that explains why Tal feels so love towards him. As usual I was wrong but it was close enough to the truth.

When he was kidnapped I thought he would use the magic and get away from the awful place. He decided not to do it because it would create so many problems to his family. At last, he used it and I was enjoying the scene so much. The whole ship burned to nothing.

the story is okayyyyy and the romance was fiiiiiiine but the writing is meeeeeh sooooooo uh.....

A fantasy adventure set on the seas, with a little bit of romance at the forefront.
