Ya know.. after that that ending I have no idea what to think.

When Rivals Fall is kind of a take on Romeo and Juliet. However, it's Harlow against three gorgeous brothers. They each think the other is evil to the bone.. but they can't help but feel attracted to one another. The Bishop brothers and her have been at each other's throats until the day she walks away from her family. Well, she went to college very far FAR away. Of course, she didn't expect to walk into the bishop brothers while there either - so her life just got a lot more fun, right?

Long story short, they do end up saying that they all have feelings for one another. They also had some hot intense moments as well, like Harlow losing a special something something. Yet, everything get's ruined. One, boys are idiots - especially these ones because they were so quick to think the worst of her even when she did absolutely nothing wrong. Then there's this whole mystery with her best friend/roommate and some other new girl that she met. I feel like they are both working against her but ya never know. Especially with that ending and she found out that someone was lying to her as well.

Speaking of that ending, hot damn. Why do I have to wait until September to find out what the heck is going to happen next with her. She doesn't remember jack shit right now and I need to know what's going to happen to her fragile mind. Ugh, waiting sucks.

SO!

First up - how beautiful is this cover? I admit to being a tinnyyyy bit of a cover snob *hides face*. I can’t help the way that I am! Lol I try not to be but it’s hard when you see a cover that’s so gorgeous, and not feel drawn to it! <3

Second - bullymances are all the rage right now and I admit to loving them :D Sometimes, depending on the story, I do struggle if the FMC doesn’t defend herself enough or fight back as much as I’d want her to so I did feel some frustrations with Harlow in that aspect.

Third - I’m pumped for the next book because 1) uh..just because I was frustrated with the FMC does NOT mean I didn’t still love the book! It just means that this character acts like a real human, right? Don’t we all make mistakes sometimes? Or do stupid shit that doesn’t make sense to anyone else? Lol so while that might seem like a negative, it’s really a positive in my mind!

This is my first book by J.L Beck and C. Hallman, so I can speak to how they write individually but I will soon because I enjoyed this so much that I really want to read more by them! <3

OMG! What is that ending! The suspense is killing me! I need to read the next book, right now!

From page one, I am once again hooked with these authors work. I couldn't describe it. They have this unmistakable, magical way of luring me in with their story, it's freaking insane LOL.

Anyway, for me this story feels like a lot like a build up to the next book, what with the way we were just given a glimpse of their backstory but still manages to give a hint of mystery and loads of question for me to ponder about later. Also, what was that about her best friend? I hope I'm wrong because the pain of that one will crush her, if it didn't already. Another one, what's the deal with that new chick, Caroline? I guess not everyone and everything is at it seems.

Overall, I'm in love with this new series and I hope I will not wait a long time for the next installment.

Why give a DPOV description when the book itself is not? I would have liked it more if it was true to the description. The extreme, sudden back and forth was a bit much, and the writing does need polishing -grammar and sentence structure. Overall it wasn’t a bad read, and I will be reading the second to see what happens to Harlow. Book #2 had a DPOV description as well, but I’m doubting the story will, just as the first.

I absolutely love these two writers together. This book proves just how well they can write together. The ending was not only has jaw dropping but mind blowing. Harlow was told to do something to someone that ruined his life. All because her father hated his family. She gets away from her family to attend college thinking she could start over. Little does she know the past will come back to haunt her hurt her and make her feel things she probably shouldnt. This was a heart wrenching mind blowing emotional gut wrenching storyline. It was amazingly written . I can't wait to see what happens with these four characters.

When Rivals Fall is a sexy enemies to lovers, reverse harem story. It will leave you on your knees begging for more...literally, that cliffhanger was major!

Oliver, Banks, and Sullivan will have you panting with lust and wanting to kick them in the nads in one fell swoop. They’re sexy. They’re mean. They’re sweet. They’re cruel. They’re charming. Did I mention they were sexy? Well, it needs repeating. You’ll be hard pressed to choose just one of them, no wonder Harlow has difficulties.

Reverse harem isn’t really my jam. I’ve just not read a lot of it, but this book had my hooked from the beginning. It is full of sexiness, intrigue, and moments that will make your heart melt.

I have so many questions! And I know you will too. Grab it today!
