I wanna give this book 3.5 stars. People we meet on vacation tops this by a landslide for me. i personally feel like each book is on a completely different level.

This book was the reason in a loooooong time that I ever opened a word doc and tried to write something. I always have loved to write but I’ve been so stuck and so just blocked and just feeling straight failure with it so I stopped trying to write anything. This book made me finally WANT to try and write something and that was huge for me.
I loved this. I loved the characters and struggling with writing. Being in these lake houses in Michigan. Small beach town vibes. Just yes.
The romance was so good and just ugh. I devoured this book. I loved it. I’m sad it took me so long to actually pick up and read! I thank a lot to this book for sure! A new favorite romance!

Reread and sad to say i didn’t like this as much as I remembered. Sometimes I think Henry tries to put too much into her novels to make the characters complex and overcome baggage.

A very cute rom com. Loved the trope but also loved the complicated story of January’s parents. This was a fun and fast paced read.
This was my first Emily Henry book I've read and it just wasn't a top read for me. I had really high hopes reading the summary but it just wasn't for me.
