Giving this a 3.75 star rating as of right now. Jay had a great way on speaking of all aspects of love and tying in spiritual aspects as well as scientific ones. At some points reading this was hard because it brought up a lot of emotions which is definitely the point, but still hard to work through. Had to put the book down and come back to it a few times because of this. Overall a really good read that allowed me to learn more about myself and past relationships.

Jay makes a lot of great points in this book and teaches you how to shift your perspective on how you love and understand how to love others, but mostly to love yourself first. We were raised to think that find you find “the one” everything just clicks, but nobody would talk about how to navigate that love once the honeymoon period is over. Overall a great read and really helped me look introspectively at how my own insecurities and experiences may play a part in how I process and receive love.
