I wanted to like it, I really did. It was a hard book to get through, don’t know why, and it took me a long time to read it.
I am enjoying this but it's quite convoluted so I can't passively listen to it. I'm getting it on kindle

About 100 pages too long. Way too many tangents that really didn't add much to the story. The entire book was a quasi horror version of the chosen one trope.
