This has two things going for it: the unique magic and the horror-esque vibes. Besides that, it didn’t do a whole lot for me personally.

Don’t get me wrong, there was nothing inherently bad about it. It just never hooked me.
Maybe that was because everything, from the characters to the world, felt underdeveloped. Or maybe because I didn’t jell with the writing style. Whatever the reason, most of the time I felt either indifferent or flat out bored.

It does end off on quite the cliffhanger, but I probably still won’t pick up the next book. I’m just not invested enough.

I take back my concerns about multiple-POVs because every single one was a hit (even the guy!!). Plot-driven fantasy with little to no romance that wasn’t overly difficult to follow after the first 100 pages or so

Como otros libros con distintos POVs algunos me han gustado y otros me han parecido un tanto aburridos... Al final va cogiendo carrerilla y los últimos capítulos me han gustado mucho pero los primeros se me han hecho un poco largos...
