Fantastic addition to the series. And that's all I can say without spoilers. The entire book is one giant spoiler. But fantastic. And surprising.

Better than the 2nd installment of this series by leaps and bounds! I actually enjoyed reading this one.

This 3 book series got better with each book. The first was okay but I got to see Harper Connolly grow as a person and a woman. it was enjoyable.

I know the step siblings but that’s still incest in my eyes. It really has put me of the series now. I feel like it came out of nowhere! At least there’s only one book left in the series

4 stars.

This was my favorite of the Harper books. It had the most interesting plot, the action was there and Harper came to some realizations.

I remember being so happy the first time I read this when Tolliver said "I'm not your brother!" lol. I'm not even a romance fan, but sometimes you just want to see characters make themselves happy, y'know? This one was more on the dark and creepy side than the cosy side, even with the cabin and the fireplace, so it was nice having those few happy moments in there to help balance it out. Sad I only have one book in this series left! I don't remember how it all ended, so that will be a fun re-read.

Such a great story that talked about real scary, upsetting situations. She wrote them fantastically. And I do love the relationship with Harper and Tolliver, I'm glad they are getting to be together.

What I considered phenomenal 15 years ago is only slightly better than average today. And yikes to that cringe sex scene (phallus? really?). But, thoroughly enjoying my reread of an old favorite series and it's fun because I don't remember all the particulars so it's almost like reading for the first time.
