Arlo has a bad case of bad luck. Sports players tend to be stuperstitious and Arlo is no exceptions. He believes he’s been cursed and doesn’t know how to undo it. He enlists help from Olivia and she is set to get him to realize curses don’t exist.
Olivia is at Brighton counting down the days until she can move back to Texas. She hasn’t explored much of Seattle and she hasn’t let anyone in besides Rose. But slowly Arlo worms his way in. They both realize what it’s like to really like someone and the things that matter in life.
Super cute fun read with all the feels.

This could totally be read as a stand-alone, but honestly, start at the beginning and fall in love with all of these characters, same as I did. I love Arlo. There was so much potential for him to be a jerk, but instead he was just himself, in all capacities.
This slow burn gave me the friendship, the curiosities of crossing the line, and then the goodness after they did.
Solving the mystery, coping with grief, learning who you are, we got it all with this story, and I was so thrilled with its turnout.
Now.
I need a Paxton book. And a Rose book. And my goodness, just this whole crew honestly. There’s so much more to delve into. And I can’t wait for any of it.

Arlo found his lucky charm

Love Olivia and Arlo's story! Arlo isn't a total douche canoe (thankfully) but he isn't known for his commitment level; lots of casual relationships/sex and not really putting relationships a priority for him. However, that changes with Olivia.
Olivia thinks she knows what she wants in life. She quickly comes to realize that what she really wants/needs isn't what she thought they were.
They started out as casual friends that became close friends. They would both move heaven and earth to be there for the other person; in good and bad times. That was the major catalyst that made them realize they had fallen in love with the other.

On a side note: All of Arlo's "bad luck" is ridiculously funny.

Perfect story of bad luck, family secrets, football injury angst, a not-really-boyfriend boyfriend and a lucky charm.

This book is PERFECTION!! I love a true friends to...more book. I’m absolutely in LOVE with Arlo! He’s just...perfect! Mama’s boy, alpha, sweet, tough, sensitive....swoon! And I love everything about Olivia as well! Love how they both were able to work through their own issues, grow, and that slow burn they have going on....woah!! Love this!!
