The first two books barely anything happened, and them bam this book so much happens. I really enjoyed the multiple mate plot twist, definitely different from your typical mate or RH trope. But I did not like how many side characters there were and their constantly changing love interests. Like everyone went from committed relationships to single or totally switches who they were into and some were into the same people so you never knew who was going to end up together. It would have been interesting if any of them actually ended up together but most of it was irrelevant fluff.

Establishment

This entire trilogy truly feels like back ground - important, fundamental, have to know background,… but still background. Don’t get me wrong, I like it, a lot - but it’s missing some key elements we’ve code to expect (not really needed) for a romance. This is the tale of how these hearts came together and who the inner circle is. I I have a feeling that the next books in this universe are going to amp up the action to 10 and we’ll know WHY fate played the part it did.

Okay, this one is definitely more drama filled than the first two! Plus it’s heating up in there

Omg this series is amazing!!! If you like slow burn reverse harem books, you will love this series! All of the characters in this book are seriously amazing and the guys are swoon worthy. My favorite part of this series is that Willow Hadley addressed all the problems and scrutiny that a relationship like this would have. I love how the boys make sure to communicate and while I was a little disappointed in the communication in this book it was super realistic because misunderstandings and mistakes do happen. I don't want to say any spoilers but there is a big reveal in this book that we were all waiting anxiously for. I cant wait for the next book in the series!

Wow! This book brought the drama. The series up until now has been more of a sweet cuddlefest, but this one was where things became make or break. Willow has done a fantastic job through the first two books of building up the anticipation for what will happen at Cricket's birthday and the mating marks. Don't get me wrong we still get the hallmark squee vibes that the series is known for, but we also get MAJOR character development in this one too.

I would never have guessed how things would play out! Honestly, there's so much that happens in this book, and it's now my fave one in the series! We get to meet new characters and get to know some from previous books. I love how Cricket is building her circle and making connections that will help her for years to come.

I'm so curious to see where this series is going to go! The romance element is a HUGE part of what I assume is the first major arc in this series, but the witch stuff which is going to feature heavily in the next book has me pumped!

Finally her fucking birthday!!!!!!

MC Relationship:
I have issues, so the ‘fight’ with Cas made me cry. Don’t worry they make up fast. Finally some sex too. <\spoiler>

Side Character Relationships:
I need Reiners mate to be Oliver or Ralph. I’m also shipping Brennan and Em and Xander and Mildy. 🤞🏻

Another lovely fluffy installment of Cricket and her boys. I love the drama and teenage angst in this book and of course Rainer!!

I've never read a series where I'm just as invested in the side characters as I am the main characters but Willow just has a way of making them as endearing and interesting.

I'm looking forward to book 4 and a certain mating ritual *insert waggy eyebrows here*
