This was an exhausting whirlwind to read in the best way. I truly could not guess what was going to happen next as it kept me on my toes and turning pages. I love that the author chose multiple POVs because I felt like I really got in the head of the three ladies and saw things from their side. There was A LOT going on in this book and honestly my only complaint is that it could’ve done less but I think the point was to be chaotic. At times, I felt like there was going to plot holes but the author did a great job of wrapping this up in a bow by the end. Highly recommend if you enjoy a good thriller! This was definitely the opposite of a quiet street..

Most of my feelings about this one are wrapped up in how it ended. Spoilers are not specific but will tell you what to expect from the ending so read at your own risk.
It's tough to read a lot of this book because it's a lot of people being relentlessly cruel to each other and a lot of "they don't know what we know" frustration, but while I spent a portion of the book worrying that this would be one of those "everybody loses" kind of dark reads, it wasn't, and because the ending was satisfying, I ended up liking the book.

The writing is mediocre and pedestrian. It's trying to be a salacious Desperate Housewives tale but the characters are so aggravating and obnoxious. None of them are likable in the slightest. Or believable as fully-developed characters.
One personal pet peeve of mine is when writers use "if I'm being honest." I'll let once slide--maybe twice if the overall is good--but it is used here to an annoying degree.
Also, what was the thought-process behind the accent choices by the narrator? Made absolute no sense.
