The romance scene had me kicking my feet’s giggling. I got butterflies and the tingling feeling when Alexis talked about Daniel. I think I was more obsessed with the dog, Hunter, more than anything. He reminded me of my own fur babies. When Daniel gave Hunter the pep talks, I couldn’t not stop laughing. If anything, read this book for the dog and a heartfelt MMC 💕

For those who are looking for a swoon worthy romance that's almost a fairytale, you are going to enjoy Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez.

After a chance encounter on the side of the road, medical legacy Alexis Montgomery is swept away by the charm of small town life and its mayor, Daniel Grant. But when their worlds seem too incompatible, Alexis has to decide what she wants to make of her life as well as her future with Daniel.

This was the first time I read Abby Jimenez's work and I was thoroughly impressed with her writing. Since I listened to the audiobook version, her writing is brought to life with the excellent narrator duo of Julia Whelan and Zachary Webber. The dual POV really works well for this book and the dynamics between the two were really spot on. Jimenez's writing brings out a swoon worthy relationship that shows that soulmates exist and this relationship is both heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time with a satisfying happily ever after.

I can't wait to read her future works and I would recommend Part of Your World to readers who want a small town romance full of charm.

The amount of times she referred to the 28 year old man as a child drove me a bit crazy. I get there’s an age gap, but as someone in their mid-twenties, it was a bit annoying. My only complaint, otherwise absolutely adorable and emotional story.
