Solid, sweet romance with a bit of spice. A little light on the angst for my taste, but I enjoyed it anyway. I’m a sucker for grumpy/sunshine, friends to lovers, gay for you tropes, and it ticked all those boxes as well as being very readable.
Awww I truly adore this book. It had a few funny moments, some really good sexy moments, and best of all it honestly was just such a feel good read. Very very little drama, best friends falling in love, just overall I truly enjoyed it.

The connection between Sloane and Dean was so deep and enduring. Unrequited love on Dean's side and complete acceptance on Sloane's side.
This was an enjoyable, quick book to read with relatable characters. The storyline had a good pace. The story was told on the third person, which is not my favourite.

The title of the book works - I didn’t like the title but it works because it drew me in because it’s pretty clear what the book will involve.
I think it’s a very well written book my first from these authors, and I will definitely read more.
I would have liked more intimacy scenes, considering it was his first time with a man. apart from this, an enjoyable read.
