I really liked this book! And it was definitely what I needed at the moment. I need a few contemporary books now for some reason, and this was a good one to start with. I really liked Joss (Jocelyn), she's a writer, I can relate to her. I didn't like Braden at first. He seemed very arrogant, cocky and possessive to me. But I warmed up to him towards the end. His sister, Ellie, is great and Hannah, other sister, is a bookworm and I love her for that. Bookworms rule. And this book was hot. Really. But it was great and I loved it and I'll probably read the sequel somewhere in the future.

I'm not going to write more than that because it's all I have to say. Or all I can come up with at the moment. If you're looking for a contemporary novel that's also hot, this is a good one to choose!

This would’ve been a perfect read for me if Jocelyn wasn’t so fucking annoying. I understand she has trauma but i just felt like she took wayyyyy too long to come around. That’s just my opinion tho

As far as romances go, it was decent and what you would expect there as far as sexy quality. However the plot sort of drove me insane! It was a classic woe-is-me girl and a controlling dude. Reminded me a lot of 50 Shades (though I must say I preferred this to that!) Some parts of the book are okay, but their relationship isn't one of them.

The first 40% of this novel really had me. Like the banter and chemistry was fun. Then...the first spice scene happened and it just went down hill. Channel, womb, and other terms just entirely ruined it for me.

The conflict? Frustrating at best, and incredibly toxic.

I should have known but I honestly wanted to give Samantha Young another chance. This is after reading another book from her that had me throwing my book across the room because the conflict was so infuriating. I'm officially just going to put my time elsewhere.

This book is not only about the romance (which is super sweet!), but all the realistic issue and the way Jocelyn handle it show how strong she is. I love it!

I know that a lot of you guys seem to love this book, but I truly can't understand the hype. Braden is a self-pleased guy with weird principles and Jocelyn is such a pseudo independent, strong 'oh-I'm-so-mysterious-and-I-won't-tell-you-anything-but-I'm-still-going-to-do-that-because-i-suddenly-can-trust-people-again woman, urgh, I just can't stand protagonists like her. And like, WHY IS EVERY BOOK OF THIS GENRE THE SAME? Yeah, maybe it's really this type of genre that can't do anything for me and yeah probably I shouldn't get my hands on books like this one again. I gave 'Dublin Street' 2 stars because of Ellie, I liked her. A lot.
