I tried. I wanted to like this book, but it was such a struggle to push through. Not because it was badly-written, it's just not hitting the mark for me. I'm just going to shelve it for now and try reading it again next time.
I really didn't like this book at first. It felt like (and is, really) a bunch of rants and rambles from a teenage girl with a broken heart. Two-thirds into the book, it got interesting. I wish it was that way throughout the entire thing. Anyways, it's not a book I'd read again, but it's also not a book I wouldn't recommend.
me gustó bastante, relata muy bien lo que es ser una chica adolescente enamorándose por primera vez.
A teenage romance that only lasted a couple months and ended with one party overreacting in an arty and dramatic way? This is the book I should have written when I was 18. It's probably for the best that this book didn't exist back then, or else I'm sure I would have littered my AIM away messages with quotes.
Can't stand the writing. The relationship only lasted a few months...there's no sympathy.
when i read this in high school i really thought i got it. rereading it 10 years later, many relationships later, I think i get it now ? ❤️
Honestly i'd give this book 3 or 3.5 stars, but i can't decide.
The story of this book was good, and it actually felt cinematic and i loved that. But i didn't quite liked how it ended; it felt like it ended shorter and differently than it was supposed to.
With the writing style, i felt so annoyed reading Min's letters, all those wrong grammar and punctuation. Honestly it felt like there was a thousand commas that were so unnecessary and out of place in the book. It was just so wrong i can't even explain.
So to sum this review, the story was great but the writing style, well not so much. But despite that, i loved reading this and i would read it again. :)

I wouldn’t say this book is “bad” it just felt kind of bland. I didn’t feel connected to the characters or their story. I like the idea of it with her having all the different things she gained during there relationship. I just couldn’t connect to the book and sometimes it feel like her rambling went on for so so long that I felt lost
This book reminded me of my "little sister" and her last break-up. It did have some suspense in trying to figure out what was the "final straw" in the relationship. Handler has a good voice in this novel and one would believe it was written by a very sassy, intelligent teenage girl.
