3.5. I HATED this book at the beginning, but it got a lot better in the middle and was agebdlwhjwk at the end. This book conveyed feelings in no way any other book I've read about a breakup has. Plus, the art is a cool touch.

Even though I thought about just putting it aside and not finishing it a lot of times, I kept reading. I was expecting something better somehow and all the movie references put me off, but it still made me feel something and I think that's what a book is supposed to do.

I wanted to like this more. I certainly liked the premise, but I found Min's voice too snarky to be real. Illustrations were a nice touch. I did like the brother-sister relationship depicted.

DNF at the moment, may come back to it at a later date

This had been on my to read shelf for years and I think the negative reviews had put me off a few times. I actually listened to this on audiobook and was pleasantly surprised at how emotional I got at the ending. I agree with other readers that it is not the most sophisticated language or structure but man did the character development get me hooked and took me right back to younger years in fresh relationships. It was a quick listen and easy to process in the audiobook form.

it takes a while to get used to the style of writing and language.

i like the illustrations

so basically it's an open letter to the guy she dated and she's giving him back a box full of treasures or things...significant things to do with their very short relationship.

anyways idek why she liked him coz he was such a f***boy

This is a fantastic read with a single fatal flaw... It's inconceivable that someone would write a novel-length 'letter' which holds this much detail just to explain why they broke up with someone. If you can put that aside, it's a great read!

Good story and I loved all the illustrations it had!
