Like with "Why Not Me?" I walk away from this book with a fierce appreciation for Ms. Kaling's sense of humor and a fierce wish that she was my best friend. If you like laughs, pick this up.

That was funny. But it also made me think: do I take too long to put on shoes?

Great book. If you love light and fun memoirs you will love this book. Kaling has a delightfully conversational tone that makes you feel like you are best friends, passing notes. Her stories are hilarious , and her insights into Hollywood delightful. Much along the lines of Tina Fey's Bossypants.

I listened to the audiobook. I would have liked a more cohesive narrative. Her stories were very funny but the book, like a lot of memoirs, was very disjointed. It was mostly essays but included a number of lists, and it might have been easier to see subheads and divisions in a hard copy.

I honestly don't have much to say about this. I enjoyed reading this and I think Mindy Kaling is an amazing person but this book didn't wow me. I only know her from The Office and I did like the little insight we got on that.
I would still recommend this book though! Especially if you're a fan of Mindy Kaling.

The parts on the Office made me wildly nostalgic. I also love her a thousand times more after learning she was responsible for both the Dundies episodes and the Injury. I will read her next book.
