this book has made it to my NO NOTES list of books. it’s perfect. our two main characters were just brilliant and the banter between them was golden. i truly felt like i was reading something that made my stomach cartwheel after every page.
also the underlining theme with the two stephens sisters and their love for each other even through the mess and uncertainty had me bawling because it made me think of my own siblings.
this book was everything. charlie lastra and nora stephens are endgame,, would literally be the first to pick up a book on their life in new york

What's not to love about this book? Funny and endearing, we are caught up in the romance of two people who are perfect for each other, while disastrous for anyone else. Nora Stevens is a book agent, in New York City, who loves her sister ferociously, city life, her job, expensive shoes and her Peloton. She is all business, and has little time for anything else. When her sister Libby, pregnant with her third, asks Nora to take a month off and live a small-town life, Nora has difficulty detaching from her phone and learning to live with less. Much to her dismay, she runs into an editor who had previously, curtly, dismissed her client's book. Charlie Lastra is good at his job, and extremely good looking, and Nora finds she must work with him in this small North Carolina town. They clash, they spark. There is tension and romance. It's just lovely.

Easily the best Emily Henry book for me. I relate to Nora’s personality so much and absolutely love Charlie (the perfect book boyfriend).
I’m an only child so the sister relationship didn’t resonate with me that strongly, but I still really enjoyed their relationship because it was humorous and felt realistic (I thought the nickname Sissy was ridiculous though lol).

This was my first every Emily Henry book and I absolutely loved it! (Shout out to all the recommendations on the clock app!)
This book approached romantic small town tropes in a very tongue in cheek way that had me laughing out loud through the entire thing. There was a coworker/forced proximity situation.
I loved the banter between the MC's, I loved the sisterly bonding and growth that took place. I thought it was a nice touch that both of these characters were City Mice and that it was embraced. It had a sweet Hallmark ending that hand me giddy.
Overall, I laughed, I cried...I'm still fixated on the Big Foot Erotica.

A good rom-com vacation read. My favorite part is that Nora always reads the last page of the book to make sure she wants to read it; my mother does the same thing. (She says she doesn't want to waste her time on something that isn't satisfying.) Libby, the younger sister, reads from start to finish and often throws the book across the room in disgust. Which reader are you?

This book was in the least, phenomenal. Most times I read a romantic comedy, I know how it’s going to turn out by the time I get to the half way point. Maybe it was that the Nora is so relatable, the sly Jane Austen references, or maybe the need to immerse myself in a good book, but I never knew where the book was heading and I loved it. Even if the romance aspect of it wasn’t there it would still be a great book, and that is no easy feat. As an older sister, this book made me cry and books NEVER make me cry.
