I really wanted to love All’s Fair in Love and Christmas, but it didn’t quite hit the mark for me. While I appreciated the faith-filled moments where characters prayed and leaned on God, they often felt forced, like they were ticking a box rather than naturally weaving into the story.

The romance had its cute moments, but it leaned heavily into the cheesy side, which made it hard to fully connect with the characters. I could see what the author was aiming for, but the execution left me rolling my eyes more than once.

That said, the story wasn’t all bad—it had a cozy, festive vibe that could work for readers looking for something light and undemanding. Unfortunately, it just didn’t resonate with me the way I’d hoped.

Cute story and I liked the plot. However I did not know this book was religious so it would be rated higher if it didn’t have all the god talk. There is no mention of religion in the summary and not until five chapters in. It was a cute story so I kept reading, but I wish the religion aspect was disclosed; that wasn’t enjoyable for me.

Flipping between first and third person felt jarring, and there were too many coincidences for the characters. The Christianity aspect felt a little too sudden and forced for me.
