Firstly, I'd like to say thank you to the author, Kristen, for the ARC I received!
I haven't read a really good romcom in a while. This book had me laughing my ass off multiple times. At some points I was laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.
Aiden is now one of my favourite book characters ever. He's so sweet and funny. He's also a sly kid. He also had me in tears with some of the things he said to Christopher. The bond they have is an amazing one.
I hope that some day this book could be made into a movie because it would be fantastic!

This book was so much better than Hating the Boss. There were healthy relationships, problems were solved in a very realistic way and overall very believable.

AMAZING!!!
Honestly love how this story plays through. Especially love how it also connects with another one of her books {Hating the Boss}! Definitely makes it a better reading having a perspective of other characters lives!!

"Back to You" by Kristen Granata was a fantastic follow up to her previous book, "Hating the Boss." Both are completely standalone stories, but I love that the timelines overlapped and Raegan and Jaxon, the main characters from the first book, made cameo appearances here in book #2. I also enjoyed gaining a new perspective on events I remembered from the previous story (especially the dodgeball game!).
The main characters of "Back to You," Chris and Michelle, were very likeable and relatable, and their families added a lot of humor and heart to the story as well. I particularly enjoyed Chris's relationship with his nephew Aiden. He was such a great kid, and I'm sure much of that was because of the example Chris set for him. Michelle's relationship with her father and brothers was a lot of fun too. The way they looked out for each other was quite endearing, and I appreciated how easily they accepted Chris and Aiden into the fold.
The story itself was sweet, charming, and gave me all the feels. There were certainly funny moments, but it was also heartwarming and heartbreaking at times. Michelle and Chris had some tough issues to tackle before they could find their way to back to each other, but I think their relationship developed at a nice pace. I was happy that Michelle didn't forgive Chris's past behavior too easily, but made him explain himself and explained why his choices hurt her in return. Even though I completely understood why he chose to leave school to take care of Aiden, Michelle was absolutely correct in that Chris could have handled things with her better back then. Fortunately, everything worked out for them in the end!
Overall, I loved "Back to You" and can't wait to see what Ms. Granata publishes next.

I loved the story in this book! As we got to know the characters and the changes in each of their lives I loved them even more!
Michelle walks in on her first day of teaching ready to take on the world and a rambunctious set of first graders - what she isn’t prepared for is the guy that ghosted her in college being the gym teacher at the same elementary school. Chris has been in love with Michelle for years and after his life changed in an instant - he left her behind. But fate has other things in mind.
I adored this story. It is heartbreakingly sweet and honest and made me laugh out loud. Both Chris and Michelle have reasons for their feelings after five years apart and Granata lets them actually work through them. I especially loved the fact that they had a character who had a disability versus a disabled character! (Aiden definitely deserves his own story! Also Micheal...)
There was realistic heat between the mains with a side of longing and just a dash of angst that kept this story going and I highly recommend it for those who love second chance romances (my favorite!) and just a heartwarming and quick read. the bedroom scene felt natural and was surprisingly hot!
