Wicked complex philosophy boiled down to bite size pieces. My love for Winnie and interest in Taoism expanded.

This book does a great job at introducing Taoism to Westerners who have little to no background in Chinese culture, religions, or philosophies. This is a great place to start if you're just getting into it and need someone to break it down for you. Not that Taoist concepts are incredibly complex, but to have better footing when navigating Taoist texts, it helps to have a better understanding of the principles and their allusions come up in traditional texts!

It's also cute to periodically have conversations with Pooh and the watch their interactions.

Here's an introduction to Taoism as sweet as honey. Well, maybe not that sweet. That would be overdoing it a bit. Or it wouldn't. Just be friendly with your inner Mr. Pooh Bear and you'll find the Enchanted Place at the top of the Forest.

Interesting concept. Unfortunately, I have a very, very different reading of Winnie the Pooh, which leads to significant weaknesses in the analogies.

By no fault but my own, this book was not for me

Charming, yet informative about Dao (Tao) teachings.
